GMC hood birds

    There's a new guy over on the OldGMCtrucks web site who is a silversmith in Germany. He has cast new early 50's GMC hood birds in brass and is in the process of polishing and chrome plating them. Here is the 1st one he has finished. My truck isn't nearly pretty enough for one, but maybe yours is. No price established yet.

    I love the price of those~ I think I'll whittle something out of wood, sand it smooth as a baby's butt, prime it and paint it chrome. Sheeze!

    Really, how much more does "priceless" cost? Unlike those *yawn* dime-a-dozen Chevy trucks out there.
