I just found a 3/4 ton 67 chevrolet 4x4 in decent shape for the price, but I have always been a fan of the 70-72 fronts, my question is this, I know that these vehicles fall under the same generation, but can you put a 70-72 front grille on the 67 body style or do you need a whole new front clip....and even then is it possible with current mounting points? (hood, fenders, lower valance, grille, anything i missed??). Please do me a favor, if it's possible let me know, if its not let me know, I could do without the side lecture of why it would be a waste to do it. Thanks in advance -Lee
You will need the whole front clip, probaly even the radiator core support. When your done no one will know its a '67.hope this helps.Karl ________ Buy herbalaire vaporizer
Hello.. I read your comments.. I just recently bought a 69 chevy.. and I want to go to the 67-68 front end because I like those better... is your current front end in good shape?? might be able to help each other out...I live in phoenix az.. nice straight rust free front clip.... eugene68 eugenecowen@cox.net
I'm just the opposite from you I like the 67/68 front ends. So if you are still in need of a front clip I have a 71 complete clip. It has your normal rust in the front lower cup of the passenger side fender but overall would be a decent front end for a driver would include hood, hood hinges, fenders, inner fender, radiator support, hood latches. Basically I unbolted 10 bolts and pulled the entire front end off. And no I don't think it is a waste to do the swap because I'm doing one right now. Anyway if you interested I live in Suffolk Va. or if you just have questions email me jjache@amadas.com
