    Hi all

    My truck is turning 50 years this feb., and I want to celebrate this be restoring the seat bench.
    I'm looking to do a complete restoration of the seat, and want to make it as close to original as possible. This means I have to find some vinyl fabric from which we can make a now upholstery (No, I dont just want to by one of these aftermarket seat covers :- )

    Do any of you know where online I can find vinyl which are close to the original color, quality etc.?

    My truck is a '65 C10 - Std. Trim

    Looking forward to hear from you!

    Regards
    Martin

    Martin ;

    Try SMS , they have all manner of cool vintage Auto Fabrics , Vinyl etc. .

    Remember to use good quality black hard foam , not the crappy stuff Auto Trimmer shops sell .

    Martin ;

    As you're looking for original fabrics I suggested SMS .

    How ever , I usually use Boat materiels as they with stand horrible abuse and sun fading too .

    Give that a thought .
