The pine boards in my '48 were very rotten when I disassembled a year ago and I mde no attempt to keep them or even record the widths. The cross rails have multiple hole and impossible to determine correct widths. I have the 8 oak boards from a friends project, that are still in good condition. Have obtained one extra from a local sawmill.

Question is. What are the widths of each of the 9 boards in a '48 PU? I can cut/rip what I have to the correct width.

    9 boards width

    4 1/4"
    5"
    5 1/2"
    5 1/2"
    6 3/8"
    5 1/2"
    5 1/2"
    5"
    4 1/4"

Measurement should be the same as the holes in your "cross rails".

Thanks Keystoner. That is perxactly what I needed. There are fron 22 to 28 holes in each of the crossmembers. . Could not tell which ones were that right ones.
