Well, the other Bill took pictures, and I did not... Had a good time though. Looked like about 250 cars and trucks. Great weather, too! Met Bill at Whataburger and went from there after dinner. Of course, I'm still nursing my leg. I am making s-l-o-w progress though. (This slow pace is necessary to prevent the formation of internal scar tissue which is the cause of my most recent surgery!)

Glad to hear about the turnout AND the weather! That's Texas for you at this time of year, huh?
As far as the knee? Keep following the doctors advice! ;)

    O.K. Bilbo

Because you came up with a real excuse , we'll let you off THIS TIME :p .

Yes , it's *VERY* important to let things heal ! my idiot Brother ripped his shoulder and had surgery , the *instant* the pain abated , he went Sailing again (how he ripped it in the first place , DUH) and ripped it a little bit again , now he has permanent muscle damage and can't raise one arm above his shoulder ~ this is death to Sailors , he needs to be able to pull those Halyards like POPEYE .

Take it slow and easy , your truck will be waiting whenever you're ready .

No, the dummy (me) was using the camera function in his newly acquired Android tablet (instead of a real camera) and didn't realize that he had to tell the camera app to save each picture individually. I ended up with just two pictures, a Model A hot rod pickup and a really beautiful Pierce Arrow coupe with rumble seat that I didn't hold the tablet steady during the picture. The PA drove past Bill and me later in the show and you couldn't even hear it running.

Next time I'll take my 12 year old, beat up, Fuji camera.
