    Ok gang,
    1966 C10 had a 283 installing a 350, 4 speed using the original bell housing and crossmember.

Here are the mounts I removed from the truck that look pretty beat up and have missing material where the motor mounts bolt runs thru so I figured I would replace them.

Here are the mounts I received but I believe the right side will not work for my application. Looks like one for an I6 application probably the 292.

Should I try to repair my originals or look for another mount to replace the one for the I6??

    Advice....

As these are as common as dirt and important to be *very* sturdy , I'd say buy more from a V-8 chassis .

I know folks are always looking for the 292 CID i6 brackets so you should be able to easily re sell them .

If you're a really competent Welder then have a go at repairing these , I'd cut them and toss into the scrap bin for safety reasons .'

the 6 and 8 cylinder 2 wheel drive mounts are the same, the only different one is that odd one that you got which is for the 292.

you should be able to sell the 292 mount ,and find a replacement mount pretty easily. the 6 cylinder mounts mount in the forward holes on the frame and the v8 mounts in the rear holes.
