    It seems like two weeks ago I was listening to cicadas and katydids accompanied by big bangs from fireworks. Here we are again.

    May you all have a wonderful 4th filled with family, fun, food, and entertainment.

    I have no doubt that everyone here will take time to pause and remember those who are on the other side of the world right now wishing they could be a part of your tomorrow.

    Their predecessors (some/many of you) made tomorrow possible.

    Thank you.

    And thank you to the family I have here that is always ready to help, as soon as they can. :cool:

    Thank you Paul ;

    It wasn't so good this year , I was on the road to bury Mom .

    Then the Family B.S. :mad: .

    Interestingly , we broke free of Jolley Olde Englande but they got their revenge right after WWII when they began shipping Little British Cars to us..... :p .

    I'm screwy so I love 'em , know how to make 'em run right and be reliable , I own two right now .

    Notice I never said a word about no oil leaks..... :D .

    I can relate when I was stationed in England, my first attempt in restoring a classic failed (Only due to an early end of assignment and change of station). I was unable to get an 67 Austin A40 Farina Mark II (Pre Mini) in a state that I could import it back to the states to pass a DOT inspection so I donated it to the A40 car club in England. I had well over 1000 hours into the restore and vowed to never again enter into a restoration adventure until I was in a permanent location. I don't like to rush things, my new 49 will be much easier then my Farina as in the states replacement metals are readily available. I never found a source for reman sheetmetal in England so I was redoing from straight sheet metal to match existing panels. It was a PITA to say the least...

    BEWARE the LBC ! :p .

    They're like a drug addiction , once you're in , you're in for life .

    I actually LOVE my LBC's and don't mind the constant tinkering they always seem to require .
