1949 Chevy 3600 price?

    I'm looking at a 49 3/4 ton in Arizona with no rust, original equipment and in good shape. I think I might be able to get this for $12,000. Based on what I've seen for sale in similar condition this looks like a real good price?

    Any comments?

    In regard to the '49 we will need more information, as Charles replied.

    My initial response is :eek: Unless it is a museum quality high end restoration $12 grand seems way too high. Even if it is, that still seems too high :confused:

    Here's the deal :

    If *you* really dig it and like how it drives and the color etc. , $12 is O.K. if you're rich as you can't build one for that price .

    OTOH , a one ton is a low value truck no matter what .

    So look hard and only purchase if this is your dream truck .
