I suppose it is not uncommon to mix and match heads and blocks as the serial number on my block is 3835917 ( though the 1 is kinda missing ) while the head is 3835913 which indicates the head is a 54 235 while the block is a 54-55 235 full oil pressure. Any thoughts? Thanks, Scott

    When i took my 52 apart i found that i had a 55 lower block and a 56 848 higher compression head.
