As I was coming out of Home Depot a guy was approaching my truck with his camera. He took a picture and said, "That's just too cool *not* to get a picture of it." I guess they like my MANLY truck. It doesn't even have a bed on it yet!
Your gonna start feeling like a movie star, driving that cool truck aound, Zig. Steve. P.S. Zig, if work gets slow, I could probably come out and substitute teach, for awhile, so you could finish your bed. Think about that...a trucker teaching third graders....yikes! Steve.
Hey, it could happen. I had 23 years of construction behind me when I entered my classroom. Keeping that construction language turned off was key to me keeping my classroom. I think life experiences help make a better teacher anyway. Thanks for the offer, Steve! It kind of looks like your ride could use a piece or two added to it as well?
Your absolutely right, Zig. Trouble is, I came in last night in the rain, to late to get anything done to the Chevy, spent today washing out and winterizing the pump on a semi tank trailer, then, repairing a couple tears on the dump trailer tarp, and now....I get to leave again about midnight. Anyway... Yours only needs a bed. I'm surprised you don't burn off tires all the time with no weight on the back. What with that super powerful Jimmy engine. Steve.
Safe travels, Steve~ That's what is most important. If you get frustrated waiting to get stuff done, go back to page one of this thread and read. Notice the dates. It can happen, and "think time" is a good thing. I drank a bunch during that time. It's all good memory building stuff. BTW, I burn the tires on the grass most every time I back uphill into my "garage".
You can choose a time zone in your preferences if you like. Those of you who have been here a long time may have accounts that originally defaulted to UTC/GMT. If you view the forums while not logged in, it will default to our time here at Classic Parts, which is US Central time. Click your username near the top right of your screen and then click Preferences to find the time zone setting.
Fall pictures... Wow, Zig, those are some nice pictures. Looks like you guys are at the peak of fall foliage. We had a great fall season here, but now they say we are in a moderate drought. Farmers almost all finished harvest before halloween. Your videos are good, also. Thanks for posting. Steve.
Indeed it is, Bill! My wife wasn't too happy with me, but that was a few years ago. If the hose hadn't been yellow...
The trees were even better last weekend, but that was a crazy weekend. Yesterday was much more laid back. As for the videos, hope they aren't as jumpy for you as they seem to be for me. Sticking with that "visuals whenever possible" mantra.
Wow Paulie ; Those are nice fall foliage pix ! . I guess that your Jimmy , being painted like that , is now a Sports Truck ? = .
