rebuilding bed box

    I'm replacing the bed floor on my truck. I have the bed disassembled, but I don't know how tight the bolts need to be when I put it back together.

    hi im wondering how do you dissasemble a box im new as you can probably tell i have rust on the rear quarters and i wanna replace them when i take the box apart

    Don't know what the torque rating is on the bed .. sorry.

    As for disassembly, it's somthing you could probably do fairly quickly. Disassemble/remove electrical, then the tailgate. unbolt floor from frame, and have a few buddies help you lift it up and off. then just start undoing all the bolts. youll have the forward bolts up front. then the wheel wells and side panels unbolt as well..

    i'm willing to bet this could all be done in under an hour..
