Starting winter projects on the truck and I need a new throttle linkage pivot point and pin if possible. I hope I have attached to pictures. When I stared to take the pivot point pin out it started to leak antifreeze, I suspect it's normal.

If any one has some good pictures of the correct orientation of the linkage from the gas peddle to arm of the pivot point it would be helpful. Dave

Do you log on the new forum and if so where.

You might check with Joe at Dead Zone. He might have one with minimal wear. What we do is use the smallest drill that will make the hole round and then make a new pivot pin that size on the lathe.

I always gas welded a couple flat washers on the inside , I have seen a few that were hogged out and a short bit of steel tubing was inserted.... many ways to skin this mule .

Joe prolly has a cherry used or N.O.S. one for you .

Thanks, all, I'll try to get ahold of Joe at Dead Zone to see if he has some pieces. Nate, good idea on the washers, I may have to try that if I can't find a piece. Dave
