Fellow come in to talk to us about going modern drive train on a 36 Plymouth pickup. Neat truck with spare mounted in front fender and what looks like car front sheet metal but is taller. The kicker is he has a 265ci (4.0L) Australian Chrysler I6 engine for it. Been on the computer to get some info and come up with that it is known as the Hemi I6 with seven main bearings, 12 port head, and rated at 300+ horsepower and torque. Haven't found dimensions for the engine but I remember the flat head six Plymouth engine is pretty compact so it may take serious tweaking on firewall to radiator distance. Truck runs and drives so he can load Australian engine and bring it by for some heavy tape measure work on both truck and engine. Will have camera ready.
