It depends on what parts you are talking about. Most body parts are the same.Grills, chrome placement and trim are different. There are some cosmetic differences in the interior. Need to be more specific as to " parts ".
The majority of the interior parts, i.e.; steering column, seat, dash panel, gage cluster cover, glove box, and possibly the hood. If I remember correctly, 78 is the last year for this particular body style.

The last year they made that body was '80 but they were always changing the grill insert. The dash panel will work the glove box door should work the hood latchs were different but the hood should fit if ya swapped the latchs,I dont know about the other parts. Karl ________ Herbal Vaporizers
Yes most parts will fit I and currently completing a 74 which is mostly 87 parts the inside is completely 87 except the seat I ran into a minor problem the older seats do not allow room for tha 3 point seat belts but by relocating the hole it will work. I got a 350 TPI injected with a 700R-4 all elect windows . Elect windows did not come in 74 but by modifing the bottom hole 87 pwr windows will bolt right in. Hope this helps could of used this when I started.
