While coming down thru the Feather River Canyon on Hwy 71, from Tahoe, I stopped at The MotherTrucker,,. Picked me up 2 NOS wing window assemblies, real nice 3quarter ton hubcaps, and going back with my trailer for a 54GMC front clip. This dude has been there since the early '70s. I remember stopping there back in the 80s to buy parts for my COE from him.
Only bummer is listening to his speel about Christianity, but hes got con-x-boxes all over his beautiful property full of parts. Ill get pics on the return trip.
If your ever in the area - Feather River Canyon, stop and see Chuck.
Don't have to live in AZ. and have an attitude to be a MotherTrucker.

Just because some unknown dip -shit in Calif. sells used crap using the hijacked MT name doesn't surprise me & it means nothing.

I pick & choose who I sell too anyway Nate.... Busted my ass for 35 years & made enough $$$ to live comfortably now.

If I don't know you, or I haven't sold you parts in the past..... most times ...I won't even respond back to used parts requests anymore.
I have no need or desire to get involved with problematic used parts sales unless you act like a gentleman & announce your inability to locate rare used AD truck parts that are not being reproduced.

All the other junk dealers can have that used parts crap business 'cause I got tired of it years ago.....

I find it much easier to wholesale my used parts out to other dealers & let them deal with the problematic customers on the retail end.

Besides....You can build an entire truck by ordering new parts out of a catalog while you are sitting on the toilet .....
Used parts is a dying business.

Now that I am involved with manufacturing & importing new parts.....The $$$ is still easy with much less headaches.

By the way.....Here is the original "Mother Trucker Truck & Van Parts" sticker from 1974 that everyone stole the MT name from to begin with..... just a few miles west of where ol' Nate lives in my old stompin' grounds in Van Nuys :D

Hey DZ, I saw a pic of a cream colored AD in the background of that emblem picture. Is that truck still around?
Interesting history about your background, too. :)

Joe, those links basically don't tell me anything other than the fact that you should have trademarked the use of mother trucker back in the day. Henceforth use this link to get the biggest bang for your buck. This is a great testimonial to your worth! http://www.sbdvd.com/56chevy/pages/ch17.html

    Keep on truckin!

Thats a blast from the past Ken.... yea I wasn't thinkin' about tradmarking the MT name when I was only 16 years old.

It would have been tough to do because there was a truckers news magazine that was already using the M.T. name back in the early to mid 70's....

And... they already had the market on M.T. branded products already locked up...

Looks like whoever subscribed to that issue is neighbors with Nate in Pasadena:D

    All bull aside...

All bulls--- aside, I appreciate everything that you do, Joe. From the knowledge both on the forum and in person, to having crates full of whatever someone might need. :D Thanks again for the parts I have bought from you in the past, and here's to the parts I will probably need in the future. Cheers!
