I bought a rebuilt Saginaw 456 - 4 speed last year to mate up with the 235 six in my 56 Chevy truck. At the time Patrick's Chevy in Arizona who recommended the Sag. 456 told me they had the B&M linkage kits. When I placed the order I was told the linkage kits were on back order but would arrive from B&M in about 10 days. I have been getting the same story for the past 8 months all while my truck sits. Does anyone in this community know of another source or can suggest a solution to my problem. I am starting to wonder if I should give up on using the Saginaw and find a different type 4 speed.
