I was wondering if I could put an 87' grille on my 81' C10 because 81' grilles are ugly.

Yep, they'll fit right in there. While you are at it you might wanna change the headlght bezels and move the turn signals up from the bumpers to complete the look.

Yes they will. BUt if you only have a two-headlight model you'll have a hole where your turn signal should go.

 

Just for the record, 87 bezels don't fit on 81 trucks...I ordered the grill and bezels from partstrain.com and the grill fits ok but the holes on the bezels don't even start to line up

 

Well then I stand corrected. Please accept my apologies for misinforming you. I would have thought that they'd fit. How far off were they? Could you fit them in anyway or were you stuck with your originals?

 

They were pretty far off, but it may be able to be fixed by drilling new holes in the bezels, it seemed like more work than I wanted to do so I sold everything and put my '81 grille back on there

 

you would have to have the 87 radiator suport to put the bezels on.
