Rare and original 1955-1957 GMC Truck Chrome Hood Bird/Ornament

I'm listing this for a friend. He has a rare and original 1955-1957 GMC truck hood bird/ornament. Has the original chrome and is in very good condition. GMC factory number stamped on the underside 2333755. Sorry for the "blue" reflection from the wall on some of the photos. These are hard to find. Actually, that is a 55.2 through 57 GMC hood bird. The 58/59 hood bird has a clipped nose.

 

Bill, Thank you for the heads up. I did check out the GMC Hood Ornament site for this hood bird and you are correct. It has this hood bird being for 55, 56 & 57.
