Anybody know if original (47-53) e-brake cables will work on a Camaro rear end? Thanx

Paul, it might be easier to adapt the Camaro cables to your truck instead I used a s-10 rearend in mine and I used the
S-10 cables and reworked them to fit the truck

I put a Colorado rear end in mine. From the junk yard, they left about 10 to 12 inches of the ebrake cable. A few cable clamps, cable, all thread, and some connectors later, my parking breaks work fine.
    Nice truck in your avatar!
Sure would be nice to see some more photos of your truck!

I modified the backing plates on my Nova rear to accept the stock e-brake cables. Just cut a hole (nicely to fit the brackets) and bolt them on. Works great. Same as the Camaro rear backing plates.
