Factory tire position: center of tire is in line with center of head light. S10 tire position: tire is in 2 1/4 inches. Temporary 2 1/4" spacer S10 with 2.25 inch spacer. Steering column raised and shifter rod hole slotted (in test truck only). Bottom of column to floor anchor Steering shaft held up out of way. Later lowered and cut of correct length when all is in place. Shifter modified to fit between dash and raised column. Temporary column to dash mount. Upper half has to be trimmed.
