The 53-54 car differential had a 3:78 gear set with a manual transmission, and a 3:54 with a Powerglide if my memory is correct.
Carswell AFB in Ft.Worth was a B52 base for years and I always liked seeing one land "sideways". The plane and control surfaces would be pointed into the wind while the landing gear was aligned with the runway.
