    Hi,

This is Fab from France. I continue the restoration of my truck and now I have a question related to the speedometer for my 1950’Chevy truck.
    - The speedometer is the original one (graduated until 90 MPH)
    - My engine is a inline6 Chevy 250cid with a Sanigaw 3 speeds

I bought a speedo cable from ClassicParts : “(1947-72) Speedometer Cable-w/ Plastic Housing 2WD” , and it fits not too bad.
Nevertheless the needle makes lots of drops when I only move the truck in my garage… I suppose the cable could be not correctly insert, and I will check this. But I wonder if the calibration will be correct and if I should not change something into the Sanigaw or the speedometer to have the correct speed...
