63 with 6 lug

    Hey guys I'm new and not great with computers but I have been surching for answers for years found this site and thought I would ask, i have a 63 chevy short step side with 6 lug axles is this a c10 or c20 thought all c10s where 1/2 ton

    Welcome to the site Curtis.

    All the 1/2 tons back then were 6 lugs. My old '65 was a 1/2 ton and also had 6 lug wheels.

    I'm pretty sure the 5 lug 1/2 tons started in 1967.

    Here's a close up of the rear wheels I used on my '65...

    1971 was the first 5 lug Chevy pickup, 1970 had 6.
