Does anyone know where I can pick up a 400 big block for my 76 High Sierra? It originally had one and I've been trying to locate one, any ideas? Thanks! Carl
A 400 big block is simply a 396 bored .030" oversize from the factory. Stock diameter 400 pistons will fit a .030" over 396 block.
first off the 400 big block was realy a 402 bbc they had already quit making them by 76 so your truck probly came with a small block 400
