    Have a late 60s to early 70s
    6 lug 1/2 rearend for sale

    Where are you located? If within driving distance of the Dallas area you can pick the one you want out of the pile. Most are out of street rods that went to disc brakes on the rear. 1970 is the last six lug, 1971 went to the 5 on 5 pattern.

    Robert is in Southern California .

    I agree : there are always so many unwanted stock rear ends and front axles that are not stylish or hip enough that get tossed in the scrap pile, a sad waste .

    I've seen good used corporate GM truck axles dumped by the road side because no one wants them .

    Before GPS we sold all our axle shafts to a survey company. They would last for years even in acidic soil and were east to locate with a metal detector.
