I am keeping the stock seat in my 47 AD. My problem is - the riser has been modified, and is rusted pretty good. Is there a source for new risers or do I need to fab something?

I know there are some repro, complete floor pans available from our host. Seems like I saw one recently were the seat riser was shipped loose, where you could choose to weld it in or not. Possibly could be ordered separate?
I welded the repro floor pan in my truck, and ordered it with the seat riser. It came already welded in, however.

You know most young people take those out and toss them. The put in modern bucket seats. Can you believe that...they want comfort! Ha, Ha. You might check locally for one. I think my son does that on any new project he does...eventually cut it up for something he is making. rod
