Hello! I'm rebuilding both vent windows for my Chevrolet Panel 1952, I ordered the weatherstrip and rivets from c.p. but I have a question about the vertical weatherstrip. Do I have to remove the older metal strip that's already riveted in place? Or do I have to keep both pieces together and rivet them? Maybe it's a silly question but I prefer to ask Thanks!
