I’m getting to the point I need coolant Before I took the truck apart i had 50/50 coolant in the stock radiator .not sure if I want to go back to the 50/50 mix , It never looked right to me anyone have idea how many gallons I should purchase ? Thanks for any and all responses. Robert
I'd suggest the "Nate citric acid coolant path cleaning", followed by Evan's coolant prep fluid, and then Evan's coolant. Top it all off with a zero pressure cap. You'll never have to change coolant again.
Well; All coolant gets corrosive after about five years but yes, the Citric acid flushing thing really works, it's wonderful if you have any alloy parts in there . I run a 60/40 mix of Zerex G5 coolant and distilled water ~ it's very important to not use tap water . 'Water Wetter' is an amazing product that really works .
