    I’m getting to the point I need coolant
    Before I took the truck apart i had 50/50 coolant in the stock radiator .not sure if I want to go back to the 50/50 mix ,
    It never looked right to me anyone have idea how many gallons I should purchase ?
    Thanks for any and all responses.

    I'd suggest the "Nate citric acid coolant path cleaning", followed by Evan's coolant prep fluid, and then Evan's coolant. Top it all off with a zero pressure cap. You'll never have to change coolant again.

    Well;

    All coolant gets corrosive after about five years but yes, the Citric acid flushing thing really works, it's wonderful if you have any alloy parts in there .

    I run a 60/40 mix of Zerex G5 coolant and distilled water ~ it's very important to not use tap water .

    'Water Wetter' is an amazing product that really works .
