Have a 1950 Chevy 3100 with a 3-speed manual. Speedometer doesn't work. Ruled out gauge and cable. Pulled the speedometer gear assembly. One tooth warn, didn't think one tooth would cause speedometer to not work at all. The speedo gear is an assembly and I can't seem to find a replacement? Any suggestions as to where to get one would be appreciated.

    Thanks

On a search type in "speedometer drive and driven gears". Numerous hits will come up. The ones I used to use most is TCI and The Transmission Shop. The reason I say "used" is because we no longer use gears/cable speedos but gps speedos instead which are dead accurate no matter what gears or tires one is running. We also no longer use carburetors---life is much easier now.
