How to adjust the idle

    Hello,
    after I got the engine running by fix the distributor the engine runs very high.
    How I have to adjust the idle and how much shoult it have?
    One another question. If i pull the throttle the accelerator goes down but it want stay in position. The throttle goes back into the initial position. What must I do that it works?
    The carburetor I have is this one: More Information for AUTOLINE C907

    My first inclination would be to check for the obvious...Do you have a return spring pulling on the pivot down on the side of the block (pic below). If so, check for binding at the pedal and all along the linkage shaft. Also at the pivot then up to the carb, all should move back and forth freely. Also check your choke adjustment as some raise the rpm when applied. FYI, this setup has one spring, some stubborn accelerators may need two.
