I'm Looking for a driver side door for a 63 c10 how much are you asking for one and shipping to Nebraska?
Hello, I realize this is a very old posting, however I was wondering if you still have available some of the items listed: 61 Chevrolet stainless steel grille INSERT ($75) Or the other items see attached, please
Searching a 63 c10 cab in good shape live in NC but will pay for shipping thanks for the help in advance!
I have inherited a 1962 Short box step side, original I6 n 3spd on column. Its all there, rusty cab (floors, rockers ECT) but new re-pop panels included. I'm trying to decide on a direction. I would love to have a v8 automatic, but not sure of difficulty of this. Any insight or advice would be appreciated on all aspects of a rebuild Thank you in advance
It depends on your abilities and time constraints ~ it's usually far cheaper to buy a finished V8 rig and then enjoy it as you make the changes necessary to make it yours .
I have no time constraints at all, I am a machinist by trade. I used to be a body man/painter before this. 25 years ago. decent backyard mechanic. Can mig weld as well. It's been a while since I've done a build, but I am a recent empty nester, and this truck kinda found me.
Sounds like a fun project, but it'll be a money pit. I lost my arse on my '65 Orange Crate. All those little bits and pieces add up. But if it's a family heirloom or something like that... I get it. As for the V8/automatic swap it's complexity increases based on the year of the V8 / Transmission you are installing. My Orange crate had a 60's/70's era 350 V8 and a Muncie 4 speed... easy peezy.
I am looking for 1960 chevy truck vent cables and choke cable with the chrome trim on them. originals the reproductions are not the same thank you for the help
