I'm keen to see what you do and how it works .

I'm not one to trust drive by wire...

Of course it works fine for aircraft and has for decades .

Russ: Besides power and ground what electrical connections are you planning to make? Any links to tech info available?

HotRod Mag has a good general purpose article Electric Power Steering Increases Horsepower and Saves Fuel explaining general use. Wish I would have known about this back when I had my '57 GMC with a factory V8. All the aftermarket solutions then had the starter and the power steering box trying to occupy the same space.

We put a Saturn Vue unit on our 1941 Ross forklift but have a Prius to go on my 37 Buick. All need to wait for Russ to do a step by step since his articles and pictures are SO much better than mine.

Bringing this up to the top hoping that Russ completed it and is ready to share the install here.
