Anyone in So. Cal. think about doing this ? . I have a complete drum to drum 1958 3100 Apache (1/2 ton) Chevrolet axle . It's bent but the brakes can be used to up grade your old pre 1951 Huck brakes . In the Los Angeles area, this thing is HEAVY . I'd hate to pitch it out as hard parts are getting more difficult to find . IIRC you'll need to drill -one- hole in your spindle oversize .
