I'm thinking of putting a Holley 94 two barrel carb on my '58 235 I6. Is there an adapter plate available anywhere for the original manifold for this engine?
    Thanks,
    Andy

I'd call and ask about the spacing between the bolt holes on the 1 barrel side of the adapter. Reason? Because Chevy six carbs changed the spacing somewhere around the time that the went from 216 to 235 engines (1953 ish??) but the web page says 1937 to 1962. Something doesn't smell right.

Thanks for the reply Bill. The spacing is 2 11/16". I will pull my Rottenchester off the shelf and take a measurement to see if it matches. Currently have a Carter YF on the engine. I'm just wondering if a two barrel would make a difference in pep to the old engine. Anybody have any experience with this?
