Hello all, I am considering purchasing a 1966 GMC 2500 with a Gruman Aluminum body. It has a 305 v6 engine. I am considering converting it into a welding rig and use it for work. I remember reading how older engines relied on leaded gas to lubricate the valve guides and avoid pre-ignition. The switch to unleaded created a market for a lead gas additive to get around this problem. Is this a situation I need to consider today? Thanks for the input
