    I have a 53 12Volt 3100 Chevy.
Can someone recommend a horn and where it can be mounted? The truck has an oil filter.
    Thanks, Scott

    Hi Scott,
It all depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for period correct there are many options. What engine are you running? 216 or 235? Or something else? I fabbed up a bracket behind the grille on my truck so anything will work there as it's out of sight, although the 6 volt horn there is no longer working. I need to take it out, and adjust the points in it, repair it or replace it with another, possibly modern horn. There are many ways to go with this. So many options depending on what you want to do. I'm running a 235 in my truck and don't really care about period correct parts so I may just go with a modern high/low set of horns under the hood for ease of operation and safety. A quick trip to the Pick-a-Part may answer your question.

Thanks for the feedback. I will look at PickaPart. What modern horn did you go with?
