I can’t get my new windshield seal to fit?

I checked the glass and it fits the body correctly, but when I bend the seal around the lower tight-corner of the windshield, the sides of the seal bulge out so far it won’t seal against the glass. If I tried adding the SS trim it would even be worse.

I am sure the factory didn’t have time to play at getting the windshields to seal properly. They had to go in quick and easy. My original factory seal is shaped differently than my aftermarket one and it appears to be molded to fit the window, especially the tight lower corners.

I am writing because the windshield place gave up. They said they could make it seal but they’d have to goop it up pretty good and it would be obvious it wasn’t done right. And that’s without adding the SS trim.

Does anyone make a molded windshield seal? That would be the answer. Or how do you bend the seal around the tight windshield radius without having it bulge out on the sides?
