Ignition switch

    Can any of you recommend where I can get a new ignition switch for my 58 Chevy truck with a push pedal starter?

    Classic parts only carries one for a key start, 8 cylinder I have a six cylinder engine. Any help on this

    If you cant find the switch for use with the stomp starter you can use the key start switch and just connect the battery, run and accessory terminals.

    NOS OEM DELCO REMY 1963 GMC 9 Terminal Ignition Switch NEW GM 1116559 | eBay is the right part number (1116559) for the 1958/59 switch for a stomp starter. The add says 9 terminal, but two of the picture shows 3. I'd talk to them on the phone before ordering.

    I believe LMC has the pedal push starter for the early fifties trucks might be able to retrofit that.

    You could use the earlier switch, but the mounting is completely different. Also, there is no ACC position on the early switch. The ACC terminal on the back comes at the same time as the IGN terminal.
