Hi, I just purchased a 1948 3100 Frankenstein project. I'm looking for a parking brake lock bar. The original one is missing. I'm having a difficult time sourcing one. Does anyone know where I might locate one? It's th piece highlighted in green in his image.

    Thanks!!

Thanks Mike... great suggestion, just added it to my profile. I'm located in San Diego. My first vintage truck project. I've been restoring air cooled Porsches for decades, but I can tell this is going to be quite an adventure!!

Wayne Malaspina is the guy here on the East coast who has tons of AD truck parts. It's all he does. He's at the big Carlisle swap meet in PA every spring and fall and will ship it to you. Great guy. He's not really a "business" per se, so you'll have to call him and probably describe the part specifically like, "the curved round bar that bolts to the pedal shaft and goes thru the floor" but he may know exactly what you're looking for by it's name (parking brake lock bar). Pretty sure he doesn't do computers and also pretty darn sure he will have that part.
