Does anyone have any tips on freeing your door handle from the rod that connects to the door latch? At first glance you'd think just two screws and you're home free...NOT!

I just spent the last two hours twisting and turning the door handle trying to get it free without any success. The attached photo shows the "knob" that's giving me fits :)

    Any ideas are much appreciated.

Finally figured it out. FYI, you'll never get the handle off the way I originally tried. Once you remove an odd looking clip at the other end of the rod that connects to the door latch, and unhook the rod, you pull the door handle together with the rod out completely. Once I figured out what had to be done, it was about a five minute job.

    Cheers
