i got a 77 c10 that needs a new steering column and i was wondering what column are compatible and where could i get one
I'm pretty sure you can use one from '73 to '83, although I think there are some small differences. After '83 the wiper switch was moved to the column, but you can still use these if you want to rewire the switch there. You can probably find a decent one in a local salvage yard or find someone parting out a truck, if its a tilt it would be a good idea to rebuild it: check the bearings, turn signal switch, retighten all the bolts, etc.
