Acceleration

    I have a FUEL INJECTED 1987 chevy silverado newly restored and it gets up to 45 pretty quick but then when I get around 65 but it takes about 30 seconds to get from 65-70 or 70-75 and so on... SO I will take any info that I can get. thanks!!

    Acceleration depends a lot on what transmission and rear end gears you have. My truck (700R4/3.08's) accelerates a lot like yours, so you probably have the same set up. You can get lower gears (3.73's or 4.10's) that will help somewhat, but they will also slightly decrease your fuel economy.
