    [updated:LAST EDITED ON Aug-27-03 AT 04:43 PM (CST)]Howdy--

I just rewired the whole truck with a Chevy Duty original-style harness and have a questions about the turn signals. My truck has what looks to be an original turn signal housing on the steering column, but no wires coming out of it. The only wire coming from the column is the horn wire. The new harness came with a turn signal connector that has slots for about eight or nine male terminals, or a mating connector. What is my truck missing and does anyone know where to get it?

    Thanks

Maybe you need a turn signal switch. Check out this part number on the Online Store:

    Part # 53-505 (1954-59) Turnsignal Switch

I'd like to keep it stock. I guess all I need is a diagram of the hookups.

    Thanks

I checked again and think this is just what I'm looking for. I thought at first that this switch was the external mount, but it really is the switch that mounts inside the turn signal housing.

    THANK YOU TIM!
