Looking for wheels. . .

    Hi. . . I'm looking for four 16" 8-bolt wheels that will accept the old clip-type hubcap mounting. Color not important, clips aren't important (I can get new). Don't need to be Chevy either, just need to work.;-)

    I guess that you have noticed that these aren't easy to find.If you look deep enough,they are around,but shipping them would be very expensive.I have about ten of them,some of which I'm saving for my truck,and I don't remember how many are 16's. Just check in your area when you see parts for sale. The average person is too cheap for powder coating and chucks the original rims in favor of some chrome or aluminum stuff.I plan on putting original rims,trim rings and hub caps back on mine the next time it gets restored.

    Yes, these are proving to be much more difficult to find than I would have thought. But you have a bunch of them. . . where are you located? I'm in Wisconsin.

    I saw a set at Pick N Pull in Hayward CA. They are attached to a P series Chevy Van mid 60's
