The tailgate you seek is common to all stepside Chevy trucks from 1954 through 1987.

What type of brake booster you looking for, i.e. size 7 or 8" or? single or dual, or stock, might be able help or point in a direction. I have a old one but it is off a 74 1/2 big old one, Planning on putting a 7 or 8" back on my 57. Let me know Brian

Well we sell at work in different sizes and single or dual cylinders. Let me just add this thought, my 57 is been subframed from a 74 1/2 ton and had a old stock style on it about 10 or 11" one. I been told by some rod builders and people at work I can go with a 7 or 8" dual one and would be fine on my truck, yours? Guess it depends on what you have setup wise , brackets etc... Want a new or used. You can get a new booster under $100 depending on what you get and where you get it. Are you set up for ft disk brakes?Does your truck have them now? Few questions to think about, But can get you one at a salavage if you trust it? Think a new one would be better. I will see what type of prices we have on them and get back you and you can go from there. Thanks
