I have a 1986 C10 with the 4.3L V6 and 4bbl carb...I wanted to switch the engine out to a 350 until my friend told me about a stroker kit for my 4.3L. Does anybody know much about stroking a V6. What kind of a Difference would I see in power and performance. I am really curious about going this route to rebuild my engine and would like to see if any of you out there have heard of this or done this
    ?????

I have never heard of or seen it done, but it does make sense.... the 4.3 V-6's are a 350 block minus 2 cylinders. In other words have the same 4 inch bore and same stroke as a 350 V-8.

I've never heard of a 4.3 Stroked either. Do you have the name of a company or a website to look at? I'd also think it be easier to go with a 350, thou. I'm probably going to swap after my engine dies.
