    Hello Guys

I have a problem with my 1950 Chevy 1/2 ton 3100 pickup. I have just had the tranny rebuilt and for the second time after replacing the Tail Stock with a new rebuilt with new gaskets, it is still leaking from both ends of the Tail Stock

Engine is a 235 Inline with a 3 speed tranny on the column.

    any suggestions

    thanks Jeff

Yes ~ either get a new (competent) mechanic or take it apart your ownself and fix it , the primary leak will be from the ball and it needs to be shimmed into place , the shop manual covers this in good detail , time consuming but easy , don't forget to polish out any rough spots or ridges worn in as they'll cause troubles too . I wonder if they maybe left the big old leather o-ring out , some mechanics are not familiar with it .

The odd drip here and there is not a leak , that would be normal , it'll never be oil tight like your Honda .
