Ok.....I have a 1968 c30 that has been sitting for about 7 years. The brake are locked up (the wheels will not turn.) I know I need to back off the brake shoes, but I can not get the star adjuster to move (rusted too bad). now what do I do??

    Quick Fix

The only thing I can tell you i its not hard, but take a scew driver and install it in the hole where you would to adjust the spinner and rotate the drum around until you can see a spring and try to pry it loose, the shoes will become loose when you get a spring loose. Hope this will work for you?
    It worked for me. J.P

also you can take the nail looking small bolts from the back of the assembley and the spring will fall off it also freeing it all up. Hope this will help. CamaroJim.
