I've been checking out the prices of chrome replacement grills and the 57 is $600 compared to the 55-56 which is $339. Is it possible to put the older grill in my 57? Direct swap or more stuff need to be changed?
It is possible to use the 55-56 grill in the 57 you will have to reuse the 4 outer grill pieces on the 57. I'm not sure what other modifications are needed but we have had customers come to our showroom and that have converted it.

Will a 55-56 grill fit a 57 The 55-56 grill will bolt into a 57 but since they attach differently there will be exposed, unused, bolt holes on the front of the truck. The 57 grill attaches to the outside of the opening & the 55-56 attaches to the inside. Good luck!
