Splash Gaurd

    There is a splash gaurd at the back of the front wheel well that keeps water/salt/dirt from reaching the leading edge of the door. This is the part of the door with the door hinge.

    What is this piece called and where can I find one?

    I'm not getting anywhere asking for that "splash thingy in the wheel well."

    Yes, There are Inner Fender Seals that should be located just forward of the hinge pillar.

    There are also metal strips that hold the rubber seals in place. Those are rivited to the fender itself. Take a look with a flasflight to see if those metal strips are still on the inside of the fenders. If not, you will need to start looking in wrecking yards and swap meets, because they are not produced in the aftermarket.

    I had to add one side to My truck (52 stepside) Its for exactly what You described...Using new metal, made one the same size and installed it. WB
